Enjoy you time around the campfire with easy meals or just a snack. Whether you in the backyard or on a camping trip, our simple recipes are a hit with kids and adults of all ages.
On your "Ronfire" roast your marshmallows to your desired doneness.
Place between two graham crackers a marshmallow, preferred chocolate and a salted soft caramel.
Banana’s.
Chocolate chips or Hersey kisses or Snicker Bytes.
Chunky peanut butter.
Slice the banana long ways through the top skin and the banana leaving the bottom skin uncut.
Keep the banana inside the skin.
Spread your chunky peanut butter inside your cut on each half of the banana without taking the banana out of the skin.
Then place your Chocolate chips, 3-4 Hersey Kisses or 3-4 Snicker Bytes between the two halves the banana.
Wrap your banana tightly in heavy duty tin foil.
Place on coals for 7-15 min. until the Chocolate melts.
Grab your tongs and turn frequently.
Have a spoon ready to scoop out the banana goodness.
To dessert is human to smore divine!
Burn a "Ronfire" for 2-3 hrs. until you achieve the proper amount of coals.
Next place a grate over the coals.
In a heavy pizza pan place a freshly made or frozen pizza.
Cover with a Weber kettle lid.
Cook for approximately 10-15 min. depending on how hot your coals are.
Enjoy your unique epicurean "Ronfire" Pizza with your favorite adult beverage!
Large baking potatoes one per person
Butter or olive oil.
Sliced onions.
Salt and pepper.
Wash potatoes and pat dry.
Slice potatoes into 1/4" slices.
Place a slice of onion and a pat of butter between each slice, if preferred drizzle some olive oil instead of butter.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Wrap in heavy duty tin foil and bake till fork tender about 45 minutes .
Grab your tongs and turn frequently.
In heavy duty tin foil place a fresh fish fillet
either salmon, trout or walleye.
Season with salt and pepper.
Drizzle with some melted butter or olive oil.
Place lemon slices on top of the fish.
Wrap tightly in the foil and place on your bed of coals.
Grab your tongs and turn frequently.
Bake till it is flaky, don't overcook, it will take about 8 mins
You will need some heavy tin foil.
In your tin foil crumble some hamburger,
chopped onion, mushrooms and chopped carrots.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Squeeze in some ketchup, mustard or your favorite barbeque sauce or all three to taste.
Wrap your tin foil tight and place on coals.
Grab your tongs and turn frequently.
Cook till vegetables are tender.
When your Ronfire is a slow burning bed of coals.
Place a grate over the coals.
3/4 lb. of bacon
4 1/2 cups of potatoes peeled and cubed
3/4 cups of chopped onions
7 eggs beaten
1 cup of shredded cheese of your choice
Salt and pepper
On the grate cook bacon in a cast iron skillet till crisp.
Remove bacon and set aside.
Stir in potatoes and onion in bacon fat.
Cover and cook till potatoes are soft.
Season to taste.
Crumble bacon over the potatoes.
Stir in eggs and cook till they set, about
2 min.
Add the cheese and let melt
It’s great at the end of the night, if the party ends at night. Some people party around their Ronfire all night long. That’s why it’s called "Ronfire" Breakfast!
